I cannot wait to be his wife.

These days I spend so much time daydreaming about being Xavier's wife. While I realize there are so many things we could just do now, Xavier and I have carefully saved so much for marriage. One of those things is living under the same roof. Currently, we live in the same apartment complex and we spend so much time together we may as well live together, but the point is we still have our own places and we do not have OUR house. Yet. I am overwhelmed with joy thinking about moving into our little home in Mt Angel when we are married.

I cannot wait...
To make breakfast and sit on the couch while watching football games.
To nap after breakfast.
For coffee dates on our front porch in my favorite red chairs.
For hot chocolate and movies under our quilt.
For decorating the Christmas tree after cutting it down.
For decorating the house together. Or me decorating it and Xavier hammering in the nails...
To make dinner for my husband. (Is that weird?)
To plant a garden next spring.
To have a clothes line. Seriously. Love those things.
To drink tea and read a book and know he is just in the other room.
To be his wife.

This is bliss. Gushy, gushy and a little bit annoying, bliss.  And I love it. All of it.

xo.

This weekend was spent rafting the Rogue River and soaking in the beauty of Crater Lake. Many photos to come. Oh, also, Nacho went to college. That was a very happy and very sad day all rolled into one. Way to go, Nacho. You make us a very proud big brother and sister.

  1. Those things all sound SO lovely! I too believe that waiting to share a home is important. I understand why some would like a "test drive", but to me marriage is about a choice. Bad habits at home shouldn't be a deal breaker.

So excited for you! Post more details!! Colors, dates, everything!!
